NATHAN DRIGGS
Eager to deepen that foundation, Nate attended Utah State University, studying Music and Drum Performance, where hours of practice and performance were matched by many recording sessions. From college projects and personal drum demos to full-band recordings with Hate Dies Hard, Fallen Upon Us, Soldiers of Yesterday, Fluorosis, and eventually Witch Hound, the studio became another ritual space—a place to carve rhythms into permanence.
Even outside the rehearsal room and studio, drumming remained an undeniable force. Though day jobs and other commitments called, the pull of the instrument was relentless. The truth has always been inescapable: I must play.
That devotion eventually drew Nate into darker territory. Drawn to the slow-burning weight of doom, the ritualistic thunder of stoner rock, and the mystical undercurrents of occult metal, Nate became one of the founding forces behind Witch Hound. With each performance, the drums are not merely struck, but conjured—a heartbeat binding audience and band alike in sonic ritual.
Today, Nate continues this path of rhythmic invocation with the support of Omete Cymbals and RL Drums, wielding drums and cymbals that resonate with the same intensity, power, and dark beauty as the music itself.
