Rees Bridges
Rees Bridges has been playing drums for over 40 years. He has spent years studying his trade and gradually built an impressive profile and reputation over time and is now in high demand to perform live, teach, record and appear at drum events worldwide.
He is now a member of Florida based band Ordinary Boys. He also still performs live with Grammy Award winning dance music pioneer's Dirty Vegas and has done so for over two decades. Writes for popular film and TV shows such as the 2010 hit movie ‘Tamara Drewe', the US Fox series Standoff, and Golden Ace award winning movie Escape.
He holds down the role as an international clinician for Mapex Drums since 2006, records and performs with new upcoming acts both in the US and UK like Richard Navarro, The Modern, and END. Appears internationally for Hed Kandi and can be seen playing alongside some of the world's biggest DJ's. He has taught at many drum seminars and is currently writing a new book for developing great hand technique on the drum kit.
Rees is widely regarded as an excellent performer/educator with a unique perspective. A real innovator of his trade and continues to push the boundaries of his instrument with his relentless workload. His tireless infectious energy and need to help others makes him one of the most respected players and educators on the circuit today.
