Octoban Red Seamless Acrylic
RL Drums octobans feature 1/4-inch-thick seamless acrylic shells, 45-degree bearing edges, chrome low-profile hoops, adjustable tom mounts that fit most L-arm stands, and chrome lugs. They are available in sizes ranging from 6"x6" to 6"x28" and 8"x8" to 8"x18". Unlike larger drums, octobans use shell length to change their pitch instead of diameter. This means longer shells produce deeper sounds, while shorter ones deliver sharper and more focused tones.

When I first received my red acrylic octobans, which look absolutely stunning! I was also pleasantly surprised to see how well built they really are!
The sound is penetrating, very focused and distinct! I have not played them extensively at this point, but so far, they seem to maintain their tuning.
Not only do they add another unique dimension of sounds to my kit, they also enhance the overall Aesthetics!

Other than the rim being a little dented which could've happened in shipping. Awesome little drum. Sounds great!
