Man, this thing punches way above its weight class. Wanted a third crash for my kit, and after searching around on Reverb I found RLDrums and these Omete cymbals. Listened to a bunch of the videos (which are wonderful to have, thank you!) and decided to pull the trigger on this deeper-sounding 18". Sounds exactly like the video, with that Turkish attack and dark decay. Absolute winner!
Currently it sits the furthest right to a 16" Sabian AAX Studio Crash and a, 18" Paiste 900 Series Crash. It sounds way more complex and is fun to hit more than either of them. So it stand out a little, in a good way, but that will change soon (with more Ometes from RLDrums).
