This thing sounds as good as it looks. Loud and punchy and better than expected sound from a 7 inch deep snare. I was hesitant at first due to buying a Tama SLP Brass 14"X8" that I personally just don't like the sound of that was a few dollars more than this. This thing is a beast and just feels durable. The only change I made was changing the batter head to my preferred head without even trying the stock head. I can't wait to try this out in the studio soon. Amazing quality for the price.
